FAQs
Find answers to frequently asked questions about booking Mike for your next meeting, conference or event.
Don't forget, Mike has spent his last 20 years working in entertainment; he's here to put on a show for you and your team. And he's incredibly flexible and able to accommodate your systems. But for best results, when speaking, Mike will bring a Mac Book Pro with an HDMI adapter for his visual presentation. Mike will also bring his own hardwired XLR handheld vocal microphone along with his own Shure wireless capsule (in order to accommodate all stage set-ups.) Please ensure that your AV Team has a chance to talk with Mike and his management team prior to the event to ensure the best possible presentation with the least amount of technical challenges.
Mike firmly believes that a talk without time for an informal meet-and-greet after the show is huge mistake. Attendees want to ask private questions. Attendees want to say hello and to share. Attendees want to mingle and discuss what they've just learned. Please budget at least 30 minutes after the talk for all of this to unfold naturally. Mike considers this as part of the show — builds this into his fee anyways — and feels that it is absolutely necessary for maximum impact.
Yes. The introduction is part of the show and Mike will choose an audience member or a participant ahead of time and will fold them into the process.
A show is simply not a show without a great beginning. Mike and his team will provide the track to your AV team ahead of the event.
In person events are always more impactful — especially based on Mike's subject matter expertise. But he can absolutely work with your team to ensure that the online component feels as genuine and authentic and that remote attendees get as much out of the experience as their real-world counterparts. For pure online events, there are absolutely ways to tailor the talks to accomplish the same stated goals. The fees are the same regardless; minus travel expenses.
